Central Air Conditioning Systems:

Home Central Air Conditioning Systems

It is one of the most commonly used residential air conditioning systems, and this helps to purify the air in homes as we can install air purifying equipment with the furnace’s filter. This is the most cost effective solution compared to the ductless systems and the cooling will reach out all the rooms in the home. Integration of smart thermostats offer a well scheduled cooling service with minimum energy consumption.  As per the requirements and by an expert technician’s evaluation, you can proceed with an appropriate central HVAC unit for your residential area.

Ductless Split Units:

Residential Ductless Split Units

Ductless split air conditioning unit does not use ductwork, so this technology can also be easily integrated into old homes. This system consists of multiple indoor units to cool and that can be installed on wall, floor or ceiling. As it has multiple head units, we can set a dedicated temperature for different residential spaces. The ductless unit’s installation is very simple as it just consists of indoor and outdoor compressor units, and just needs a small hole to connect, so the maintenance section will be very customer friendly.

At Pro-West, our knowledgeable and certified technicians possess the necessary qualifications, skills, and tools to not only install your centralized air conditioning system but calculates the type and size of an HVAC system that is most appropriate for your home.

Why is it important to diagnose and calculate the right sized unit for your home?

Top Tips from our Technicians:

  • How often should you change your filters?

Every 3 months but depends on the MERV rating of your filter; a high rating is more restrictive which would require more changes of filters.

  • Mowing your lawn?

After mowing your lawn, check your condenser coil and make sure it hasn’t been plugged up with lawn clippings or debris. Overlooking this may cause otherwise your refrigerant pressures to run higher; causing your compressor to work harder than it should.

  • For AC Season

Always ensure to check your air registers to make sure they’re not blocked or that too many are closed as that can cause your evaporator coil to freeze up without the proper air flow.
